UP jail minister sparks controversy, says ‘political leader don’t have to be educated’

Sitapur (UP), Jan 29 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh’s jail minister, Jai Kumar Singh Jaiki made a controversial statement while addressing a gathering at Seth Ram Gulam Patel Memorial Inter College in Sitapur on January 28. Jail Minister Jai Kumar Singh said, “Political leader don’t have to be educated, I am a minister, I have secretary and official staff under me. I don’t have to run Jail, there is a Jailer and Superintendent, who will take care of it, My work is to say that, better food should be cooked in jail.”
