J&K: 3-day Cultural Festival “VITASTA” concludes in Srinagar

Srinagar (J&K), June 26 (ANI): A three-day Cultural Festival ‘VITASTA’ concluded in Sheri Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC), Srinagar on June 25 receiving a positive response from the audience. The unique festival VITASTA was organised by North Zone Cultural Center (NZCC), Patiala. It was inaugurated by home minister Amit Shah along Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at SKICC on the banks of Dal Lake. On the day of closing ceremony, Tamil Nadu Governor Ravindra Narayana Ravi and Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit were also present. Both the governors praised the mesmerizing beauty and composite cultures of Kashmir. The purpose of this festival was to revive cultural activities and provide specific platform to artists of valley. So that they can show their talent and interacts with guest artists including actors, singers, musicians for cultural exchange. During the three-day festival, large number of artists that came from different parts of country participated with of spirit aimed to enthrall huge art loving audience. Participants and the audience were very excited being part of the festival. They demanded more such festivals to promote the cultural activities in valley.
