J&K: First-ever Winter Carnival in Kupwara to promote winter tourism

Kupwara (J&K), Jan 30 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir administration organised a 3-day ‘Kupwara Winter Carnival 2023’ at the Kupwara district of North Kashmir. The carnival is being held from January 29 to January 31. Deputy Commissioner Doifode Sagar Dattatray inaugurated the carnival at Dringyari Chowkibal in Kupwara on January 29. A large number of people and tourists participated in the carnival. The main attractions of the carnival are ice skating, ATVs, Snowmobile, Sagging Bridge, and Zip Line. Besides sports activities, music, refreshment, and food courts are also available for the locals and tourists. On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Carnival is the first of its experience in the district and to make the best possible efforts to boost the tourist activities in the district.
