J&K: Preparations for Amarnath Yatra in full swing in Pahalgam

Anantnag (J&K), June 28 (ANI): All arrangements have been finalised by Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory administration for the annual holy Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam town. The 62-day Yatra begins on July 01 and culminates on August 31. Besides that, all other arrangements like Langar stalls and other medical facilities have been installed at the Nunwan base camp for pilgrims. Anantnag District Administration has placed all facilities like medical sanitation and employees have been stationed at various places for the Yatra. Deputy Commissioner Anantnag has been personally looking at all the arrangements for the Yatra along with other senior government officials. The 62-day Yatra is an important pilgrimage for Hindus who visit the Amarnath Cave, believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. The holy Amarnath Yatra has two routes one from the Pahalgam side and the other from the Baltal Sonamarg side.
