Kargil Vijay Diwas: Over 300 people participate in ‘Run for Unity’ in Poonch

Poonch (J&K), July 27 (ANI): The Indian Army organised ‘Run for Unity’ on Kargil Vijay Diwas in Poonch. Over 300 people participated in the event. Army veterans, who have dedicated their life in the service of the nation, also participated in the event. The Indian Armed Forces had defeated Pakistan on July 26, 1999. Since then, the day is celebrated as 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' to rekindle the pride and valour of the soldiers who took part in Operation Vijay.
