Katha session celebrates deep India–Korea cultural bonds

New Delhi, Nov 26 (ANI): Deputy Chief of Mission Sang-woo Lim of the Korean Embassy in India led a special virtual tour of the National Museum during the India Foundation’s Katha Session at the India Habitat Centre. As the guest speaker, he brought the museum alive spotlighting iconic artefacts and drawing vibrant links between Korean and Indian traditions. Lim compared Korea’s guardian spirit Dokkaebi with India’s Kirtimukha, even enchanting the audience with a popular Dokkaebi folktale. Poet-diplomat Abhay K joined the delegations at the event, praising Lim’s insightful presentation and his contribution to strengthening India–Korea cultural ties. Lim highlighted the legend of Dangun, whose philosophy of “benefitting all humanity” echoes India’s Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, and underscored the nearly 5,000 years of cultural linkages between Korea and India.
