Kochi (Kerala), March 06 (ANI): Indian Navy’s helicopters, along with the fire tenders and fire force personnel, on March 06 continued to battle the fire at the Brahmapuram waste plant. The massive fire which occurred on March 02 is still not completely extinguished. It caused toxic smoke which engulfed most parts of Kochi city and neighbouring areas and foul smell at nearby places. The locals have expressed health concerns due to the toxic smoke. “Corporation authority is not caring about our life. We will die due to tuberculosis. They could not douse the fire completely even after five days. We are unable to sit here because of the foul smell,” said a local.
