Kerala Opposition boycotts Assembly session

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Aug 12 (ANI): Kerala Opposition leaders’ boycotted Assembly session after the Speaker denied permission to discuss the notice of adjournment motion given by Congress MLA PT Thomas. Thomas gave notice for adjournment motion in Kerala Assembly over Customs showcause notice that alleges gold smuggling accused Swapna Suresh & Sarith PS in their statement revealed the involvement of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in dollar smuggling to UAE. The Speaker rejected notice on the ground that the matter is under consideration of the court. The Opposition demanded resignation of Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan.
