Leh gets double-lane motorable bridge

Leh (Ladakh), Aug 18 (ANI): The development work in Ladakh has taken a pace since the J&K’s special status was revoked and the state was bifurcation into two Union Territories. A double-lane, motorable bridge has been constructed over the Indus River in Leh district. The bridge, constructed in Choglamsar town was dedicated to the public on August 17. Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur inaugurated the bridge. The 60-metre bridge has been completed at an estimated cost of Rs 8.21 crore under Central Road Fund. The bridge will solve commuting problems of locals.
