Let’s not spoil India’s image of ‘unity in diversity’: Archbishop on CAA

Bengaluru, Jan 09 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in Bengaluru on January 09, Archbishop of Bengaluru Peter Machado spoke on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He said, “Let religion not be made criteria for citizenship. Let’s not spoil India’s image of unity in diversity. Don't isolate a religion or community.” “We are not targeted now but we could be in future. We are also a minority and it could happen to any of us,” Archbishop added.
