Light rain strikes Varanasi

Varanasi (UP), June 17(ANI): Varanasi received light showers on morning of June 17. Rains brought respite to people from scorching heat. 25.0 °C minimum temperature and 35.0 °C maximum temperature reported in Varanasi. As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city will experience 'Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers' today.
