Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 31 (ANI): In a bid to scare away monkeys, Lucknow Metro placed cut-outs of Langurs at nine metro stations. This initiative aimed at beating the menace of monkey. Along with the cut-outs the angry Langur voice is also played in an interval of 15-20 minutes. “Initially, we played voices of 'angry Langur'. It did have some impact but not for the long-term. So, the management has decided to display these cut-outs. When the voices were played with cut-outs, the effect was seen. We change the positions of the cut-outs within a few days so it fools the strayed monkeys and scares them away,” said Vivek Mishra, Station Controller.
