Low lying areas in Uttarakhand’s Srinagar submerge after water level rises in Alaknanda River

Srinagar (Uttarakhand)/ Tehri Garhwal (Uttarakhand), June 19 (ANI): Several low lying areas in Srinagar areas of Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal submerged in water after the water level rose in Alaknanda River due to heavy rainfall. Parts of the state are receiving continuous rainfall from past two days. Landslide also occurred near NH-58 in Tehri Garhwal district.
