Railway has upgraded one of its flagship trains, Tejas Express. Tejas Express is now equipped with recliner seats to increase passengers’ comfort and ride quality. Recently, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared the pictures of the new recliner seats on Twitter. The seats face each other , and the passengers have ample arm space and leg room. These modern seats look at par with Business Class cabins of international airlines. Tejas Express run by Indian Railways’ subsidiary IRCTC has two classes AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. Tejas Express offers swift and comfortable travel equipped with modern facilities and automatic doors. Tejas Express can achieve maximum speed of 200 km/hr, but the maximum operating speed is limited to 130 km/hr.
