Maharashtra: Ahead of 2024 polls, KCR promises to nationalise power sector if BRS voted to power

Nanded (Maharashtra), Feb 05 (ANI): Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekhar Rao addressed a Press Conference in Maharashtra’s Nanded on February 05. While addressing event, he talked about 361 billion tonnes of Coal reserves that India possesses and how the government is privatizing the private sectors in favor of companies like Ambani and Adani group. “India has 361 billion tonnes of coal reserves, we have so many resources despite that we are talking about private players...Adani Power, Ambani power. If entire power sector will be privatised, then they (companies) will blackmail the govt,” said K Chandrashekhar Rao.“PM Modi is in power today, he can privatise the power sector as much as he wants but after 2024 it's us who will come into power and we will take it (power sector) back. We will nationalise power sector, 90 pc will be kept in public sector,” he added.
