Maharashtra CM Fadnavis launches NVIDIA AI Center, stresses skilled workforce for tomorrow's jobs

Nagpur (Maharashtra), August 2, 2026 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the AI Center of Competency, established in collaboration with NVIDIA at Ramdeobaba University, Nagpur, and stressed the need for educational institutions to produce employable, skilled, and future-ready talent. He said artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and quantum computing will shape the future, with AI expected to transform the nature of nearly 70% of jobs over the next 1,000 days. Emphasising multidisciplinary education, research, and innovation, Fadnavis said universities must adapt to rapidly changing technologies to prepare students for the evolving job market.
