Markets in Srinagar decked up with all kinds of Attars during Ramzan

Srinagar, March 25 (ANI): Amid the holy month of Ramzan, the demand for non-alcoholic perfumes has increased in Srinagar. Shops in Srinagar are decked up with many varieties of ‘Attar’. They made these ‘Attars’ by themselves and some were imported from gulf countries at high prices. People love to use these perfumes during the month of Ramzan. There are above 300 varieties of Attars like Gulab, Chameli, Nargis, Musk Chocolate, Banana, Kashmiri Apple, and Kesar that are available in the market. People come from different parts of Kashmir to Srinagar to buy these Attars. Shopkeepers also do good business as they prepare many varieties of perfumes before the month of Ramzan. It takes years to create high-quality non-alcoholic perfumes with different types of fragrances. Attar is a non-alcoholic perfume, which is made from flower extracts which are kept for a long time to derive the best fragrance. Attars are completely chemical-free.
