Migrant labourers from Karnataka's Bagalkot leave for native place in trucks

Bagalkot (Karnataka), Mar 27 (ANI): Migrant labourers across the country are facing great difficulty amid nationwide lockdown to fight coronavirus. Migrant labourers in Karnataka's Bagalkot are returning to their native place in trucks. These people from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan mostly work as construction workers and labourers. Transportation is off from roads after the announcement of nationwide lockdown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A labourer said, "Our work is shut. We are sitting idle since past 5-7 days. Whatever saving we had is about to finished now, that is why we are returning now. Our family is with us." People from unorganised sector are the worst hit by the lockdown put to restrain coronavirus pandemic.
