Migrant workers queue up for medical fitness certificates, social distancing norms flouted

Thane (Maharashtra), May 06(ANI): Amid the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra, migrant workers stood in long queues for getting medical fitness certificates on May 06 to get medical certificates in order to obtain transit passes to return to their native places. Social distancing norms were flouted as 1 meter distance was not maintained. Maharashtra has so far reported 15525 COVID-19 cases. Along with this 617 people in Maharashtra have lost the lives due to COVID-19 pandemic.
