MoS Karandlaje’s dig over ‘Bajrang Dal’ row; vows to hold door-to-door ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ campaign

May 04, 2023

Malleshwaram (Karnataka), May 04 (ANI): In a well-organised reply to the Congress party over the contentious ‘Bajrang Dal’ row, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Shobha Karandlaje will begin her door-to-door ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ chanting from May 05. The move came amid Congress facing backlash over promise to ban the ‘Bajrang Dal’ in its manifesto. With Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala’s ‘cannot chant Hanuman Chalisa’ remark, the slugfest has taken another ugly turn, resulting in Karandlaje ‘door-to-door’ move. Since the release of the manifesto, the Modi-led NDA government has left no chance to take a dig at the Congress over the ‘ban’ promise. The poll-bound Karnataka will hold its Assembly Polls on May 10, meanwhile, the results will be declared on May 13.
