Multiple hospitals affected in Mumbai after Dharavi man dies of coronavirus

Mumbai, Apr 02 (ANI): Mumbai’s Dharavi area has reported first death due to COVID-19 on April 02. The deceased lost his life at Sion Hospital and had symptoms like fever, cough and respiratory issues. He also had a co-morbid condition of renal failure. The BMC authorities have also stamped and quarantined all those who had come in contact with the victim. There are total 390 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra including thirteen deaths and 42 cured patients. Sai Hospital Chembur is completely sealed and Saifee Hospital, Jaslok Hospital, Bhabha Hospital and Hinduja Hospital are partially affected due to exposure to COVID-19 patients. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 1764 in India and 50 deaths.
