Mumbai locals buy essential items amid coronavirus lockdown

Mumbai, Apr 06 (ANI): People are purchasing essential commodities including vegetables in Mumbai on April 06 amid coronavirus lockdown. Locals were seen buying vegetables from Bandra-Kurla vegetable market in Mumbai. The 21-day nation-wide lockdown commenced on March 25 in an effort to combat with COVID-19 pandemic. There are total 556 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra including 24 deaths and 42 cured. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 3219 in India and 83 deaths.
