Muslim family making Ravana effigies in Rampur faces hardships due to decline in orders

Rampur (UP), Oct 14 (ANI): A Muslim family in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh who is making Ravana effigies for generations, now facing financial problems due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though COVID-19 restrictions have been relaxed, the number of orders are still low. “We have had very few orders during the past two years. We received almost negligible orders last year, and this year we have got orders only for small effigies. The Dussehra organising committees have asked us to prepare small effigies this year," said Manzoor Khan, an effigy maker.
