Naturally Ventilated Poly Green House technology boosts income of Kashmiri farmer

Ramban (J&K), July 05 (ANI): Naturally Ventilated Poly Green House (NVPGH) technology introduced in Gool area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir. Under Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH), a farmer Fayaz Ahmed Jiral setup NVPGH at a cost of Rs 6.20 lakh. Gool being a high altitude area, the farmers could get only one crop in a year. But with this new technique, Fayaz is reaping more than two crops in a year through off-season. Leaving conventional farming behind, he set a good example for other farmers too. Now, other farmers are also shifting from traditional farming to advanced agriculture technology. Now Fayaz is fetching higher price of his produce thereby multiplying his income manifold.
