India’s neighboring country, Nepal, is reeling from the catastrophic aftermath of a 6.4-magnitude earthquake. The impact of the disastrous earthquake has left a trail of destruction, leaving countless individuals injured and many dead. Till now, more than 150 people have been killed, as per Nepal Police. Nepal was jolted by a massive 6.6-magnitude earthquake on the late night of October 03 and continued to feel aftershocks, with a magnitude of 3.3. Meanwhile, Indian PM Narendra Modi had expressed his condolences as he said that he is ‘deeply saddened’ by the loss of lives. India also released an emergency contact number for Indians who require urgent assistance. Efforts are underway to provide medical assistance to those injured in the earthquake. The earthquake's impact has not been confined to Nepal alone, tremors were felt in several districts of North India, including Delhi-NCR, UP, and Bihar.
