New Research suggests prioritized vaccination strategies for organ transplant recipients

New Delhi, July 03 (ANI): In a research, scientists pointed out that a diminished immune response to COVID-19 vaccines among organ transplant recipients and others on immunosuppressive drug regimes. This present challenges at both the individual and population levels, since current protocols may not provide adequate protection to patients- who could, in turn, become reservoirs for new and dangerous variants of the virus.
