Odisha CM Mohan Majhi reviews security, crowd management plans ahead of World-Famous Rath Yatra

Bhubaneshwar (Odisha), July 11, 2026 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a high-level review meeting on preparations for the world-famous Rath Yatra in Puri, directing officials to ensure seamless coordination, strong security, effective crowd management and smooth conduct of the festival. Authorities informed the Chief Minister that 12,000 police and CAPF personnel will be deployed, supported by extensive arrangements including bio-toilets, temporary hospitals, CCTV surveillance, LED screens, telecom infrastructure, and special facilities for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
