Odisha: Transgender community demands separate ward in hospitals

Bhubaneshwar (Odisha), July 23 (ANI): The transgender community held a protest in Bhubaneswar seeking separate queue and ward at hospitals. “When we stand in a queue in the hospital, the ladies denied us to stand at the same line. We can’t stand at the male line either. We demand to create a special queue in the hospital. We expect that our demand will be met soon,” said transgender activist Meghna.
