One arrested with fake currency notes by Delhi Police

New Delhi, June 12 (ANI): Delhi Police has nabbed accused Guash Mohammad in a fake currency case. 200 fake currency notes of Rs. 2,000 denominations with a total face value of 4 lakh were recovered from his possession. Secret information about carrying fake currency notes by a person was received by the STF of Delhi Police. Acting on this information the police team laid a trap on the instance of the informer at Sector-22 road near Taj Vivanta Hotel Sector-21, Dwarka, Delhi. On indication of the informer, the police team apprehended him. On his personal search, two bundles of fake currency note each of Rs 2000 denominations were recovered from pockets of his trouser. According to the police, the accused took a loan from private financers to meet the demands of his girlfriend. After running out all his money he discussed his financial constrain with one of his friends, Vipin. Vipin told him that he had high-quality fake currency notes and if somebody is willing to take these fake currencies, they can earn huge profits. Accused Gaush agreed with this offer. Vipin handed over him two bundles of fake notes but before he could get a potential buyer to dispose-off these, police apprehended him.
