One Nigerian supplier, 2 drug peddlers arrested by Delhi Police

New Delhi, August 11 (ANI): Delhi Police have arrested 2 Punjab-based drug peddlers and one Nigerian drug supplier with 1.122 kg of heroin, worth over Rs 7 crore in the international black market. According to the police, a tip-off was received about the movement of drug peddlers, in the area of Mohan Garden. Based on that, a trap was laid near Poswal Chowk. Two persons who were moving around suspiciously tried to flee when signalled to stop. The duo was immediately overpowered by the raiding party. They were identified as 27-year-old Gursewak Singh and Amritpal Singh. 300 gms of heroin was recovered from Gursewak Singh and 350 gms from Amritpal Singh. During the investigation, they revealed that they had come from Punjab to receive the consignment from a Nigerian. The team worked relentlessly to trace and identify the source and finally zeroed in the Nigerian supplier Anyigide Frankline. 472 gms more heroin was recovered from Frankline's possession. Total 1.122 Kg heroin was recovered.
