Opposition intended not to allow Monsoon Session to continue by creating ruckus: Piyush Goyal

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): After the Upper House chairman suspended 12 of its members for 'unruly' behavior in the Winter Session of the Parliament on November 29, Leader of House in Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal on November 30 said that in the last session, intention of the Opposition was not to allow the Session to continue. “The Speaker was insulted, papers were thrown. Lady Marshall was hurt. In view of this it was necessary that this action should be taken. the members should apologize. The kind of indiscipline we saw in Monsoon Session was never seen before. One Opposition MP tried to vandalise LED screen,” he added.
