Over 1 lakh people booked since Delhi polls announcement: Chief Electoral Officer

New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): Action has been taken against 96,355 and 6001 people under Delhi Police Act and Excise Act respectively informed Delhi Chief Electoral Officer, Ranbir Singh on January 30. “Since January 6, 384 illegal weapons have been seized and 5592 licensed arms deposited, 3 cases of violence reported, action taken against 96355 people under Delhi Police Act, action taken against 6001 people under Excise Act,” said Delhi Chief Electoral Officer.
