Passengers defying COVID guidelines being put under ‘No-Fly List’: Hardeep Puri
Mar 26, 2021
New Delhi, Mar 26 (ANI): As India stares at second wave of COVID-19, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said to mitigate further COVID-19 spread, DGCA has started putting violators of guidelines on no-fly list. Union Minister also ensured that air travel is much safer than other modes of transportation. “We are winning the fight against coronavirus but there are some among us who are careless. That is why, I have asked DGCA to crack the whip. No matter how many SOPs we make if they are not followed it is of no use. We have started putting people on no-fly list. I also believe there won’t be any problem related to air travel. Air travel is much safer than surface route travels,” said Civil Aviation Minister.
