People rescued in short span of time: IAF Chief Operations Officer, Jammu

Jammu, Aug 19 (ANI): Two people got stuck following a sudden increase in water level of River Tawi in Jammu on August 18. Speaking on the rescue operation, Indian Air Force Chief Operations Officer Sandeep Singh said, “We received information at 12 pm that some people needed to be rescued, by 12:29 pm helicopter was here. Our Garud Commandos went down and put a hook on fishermen, 4 people were rescued in a short span of time, the operation was successful.”
