People who attended Nizamuddin congregation will be tested immediately: Assam Health Minister

Guwahati (Assam), Mar 31 (ANI): Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that people, who attended Nizamuddin congregation should be quarantined, tested immediately. “Several people from Assam are also present in Nizamuddin who had gone to attend the religious congregation arranged by Tablighi Jamaat. First list has come consisting of the names of 299 people and second list consists of 157 persons. The state government has directed the deputy commissioner to see whether they have already come back to Assam and if they have then they should be quarantined within 2 hours of time. They should be tested immediately,” said Sarma after over 700 people attended Nizamuddin congregation in Delhi despite nationwide lockdown amid coronavirus scare.
