Police Families Welfare Society celebrates 51st Foundation Day ‘UPAAN’ at Red Fort

New Delhi, April 12(ANI): Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) celebrated its 51st Foundation Day, ‘UPAAN’ at the premises of Red Fort. Eminent educationist and social worker Sangita Saxena was the Chief Guest on the occasion. She was hosted by PFWS President Ritu Arora. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest said that PFWS is playing a major role in education, employment opportunities, cultural development and empowerment of police families and society. During the event, the Chief Guest also congratulated the winners including core committee members and team leaders from different branches of PFWS across Delhi. A video showing several initiatives and programs organised as a part of PWFS foundation week was also displayed. In the welcome address, President Ritu Arora highlighted the work done by PFWS to make women Aatmanirbhar by conducting different skill development programs. Along with this, she also gave an outline of the Police Families Welfare Society activities and its evolution.
