Power Minister assures of no interruption in electricity supply during lockdown

New Delhi, Mar 28(ANI): Minister of State of Power and Renewable Energy, RK Singh on 24*7 electricity supply during lockdown said that there will be no interruption in the electricity supply. He also said that the electricity distribution companies are facing problems in money collection and are not able to pay for the power consumed therefore, all electricity generation companies have been directed to not regulate power till June 30. RK Singh further announced that the amount in the Letter of Trade, submitted by the distribution companies or state government to withdraw power, has been reduced to half."The delay charges will also be halved for both distribution companies and common man," said the Union Minister.
