Prayagraj murder accused killed in police encounter, days after CM Yogi’s warning to mafia

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 27 (ANI): Days after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s “mafia ko mitti mei mila denge” warning, Prayagraj murder accused was shot dead. UP Police killed one of the accused involved in the murder case which triggered a political showdown in the state. Arbaz, person, who was allegedly driving the vehicle involving in Prayagraj case, died during treatment at the hospital after engaging in a gun battle with the UP Police. Prime witness in BSP MLA murder case, Umesh Pal was shot near his resident in Prayagraj on February 24 by assailants in broad daylight. Pal later succumbed to his bullet injuries during treatment at the hospital.
