Pregnant woman allegedly denied entry into Bharatpur hospital citing her religion

Bharatpur (Rajasthan), Apr 05 (ANI): A pregnant woman was allegedly denied admission into a hospital in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur on April 04. She was denied entry in Janana Hospital citing her religion. While speaking to ANI, the Principal of Janana Hospital in Bharatpur, Dr Rupendra Jha said, “I will able to say something once the investigation is done.” Speaking to media, pregnant woman’s husband said, “Hospital staff referred us to a hospital in Jaipur as we are Muslims. We didn't even cross Bharatpur, she delivered the child on the way and the baby died.”
