President Kovind administers oath of office to Bimal Julka as new CIC

New Delhi, Mar 06 (ANI): Bimal Julka took oath as new Chief Information Commissioner of the Central Information Commission on March 06. President Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath of office to Bimal Julka in the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and other political dignitaries attended the oath taking ceremony. The post of Chief Information Commissioner has been lying vacant since the former chief Sudhir Bhargava's term came to an end on January 11 this year.
