President Ram Nath Kovind presents Padma Awards 2020 at Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi, Nov 09 (ANI): Renowned playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam was awarded the Padma Vibhushan award, posthumously on November 09. The award was received by his son. Mouma Das, veteran table tennis player was conferred with the Padma Shri award. Singer KS Chitra, who made her mark in Indian playback industry, was presented with Padma Bhushan award. Wrestler Virender Singh also received the Padma Shri award. The Awards are given in three categories: Padma Vibhushan (for exceptional and distinguished service), Padma Bhushan (distinguished service of higher order) and Padma Shri (distinguished service).
