Priyanka Gandhi detained at Sitapuren route Lakhimpur Kheri under section 144 imposition: DM

Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 05 (ANI):The Sitapur Administration stopped Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi for visiting LakhimpurKherias Section 144 of CrPC was imposed in the district, said District Magistrate Vishal Bhardwaj on October 05. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wanted to visit LakhimpurKheri but as Section 144 of CrPC was imposed in the district, the administration has stopped the entry of political leaders. We have stopped Priyanka Gandhi in Sitapur,” said DM Bhardwaj.
