Protesters block railway tracks in WB after trade unions call for ‘bharat bandh’

North 24 Parganas (WB), Jan 08 (ANI): At least ten trade unions called for ‘bharat bandh’ against ‘anti-worker policies of Central Government on Jan 08. Railway tracks were blocked by the protesters during protest in West Bengal’s Barrackpore. The train services have severely been affected. Meanwhile, protesters also blocked railway track in Kanchrapara of North 24 Parganas. Protesters demand during ‘bharat bandh’ includes the Centre to drop the proposed labour reform.
