Ankola (Karnataka), May 04 (ANI): Taking a detour during his Karnataka Assembly Polls campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a gladdening meeting with Padma Shri recipients Sukri Bommagowda and Tulsi Gowda. The awardees hailing from Karnataka’s Ankola, led their Halakki Vokkaliga community to a golden podium by their remarkable achievements. ommagowda, Ankola’s own nightingale, and Gowda, a proud environmentalist, gracefully met the PM and gave him their blessings ahead of the vital state elections. Opening up about their meeting, the recipients expressed their happiness over it. The BJP, with the PM himself campaigning for the Karnataka Assembly Polls, is leaving no stone unturned to clinch majority of seats to come into power. Karnataka being the only BJP-led state in the South, the win is extremely vital for Modi’s NDA government. Poll-bound Karnataka will hold its Assembly Elections on May 10, meanwhile, the results will be declared on May 13.
