Rajasthan Govt focusing on strengthening health infrastructure to fight COVID's 3rd wave: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) June 25 (ANI): The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot inaugurated various health services and laid the foundation stone of the medical wing and cycling velodrome in Bikaner district through video conference. The CM dedicated the Community Health Center buildings at Poogal and Kalu and Primary Health Center buildings at five areas of the district. Apart from that cycling velodrome at Maharaja Ganga Singh University costing Rs. 9 crore 30 lakh, a state of the art Medicine Wing in PBM Hospital will be constructed at a cost of Rs 20 crore in the district. The wing will increase the capacity to 450 beds. It will have 50 beds of ICU and 50 deluxe cottage beds.On this occasion, the Chief Minister Gehlot said that the State Government is leaving no stone unturned in strengthening the health services at the grassroots level to combat the possible third wave of COVID. Medical infrastructure is being strengthened continuously till community health centre (CHC) and primary health centre (PHC) level in urban as well as rural areas.
