Rajasthan govt ‘fully alert’ to deal with coronavirus: CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Mar 05 (ANI): In the meeting organised at his residence in Jaipur, Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, reviewed the arrangements made to deal with corona virus.During the meeting, the Chief Minister said the state government is “fully alert” and “vigilant” to deal with coronavirus, and that people need not have to be scared as the state government will take every necessary step to prevent it.The Chief Minister directed Medical and Health Department's Additional Chief Secretary to monitor the situation through video conference with district collectors and medical department officers.The Chief Minister said that if any person is found with the symptoms of this virus then along with screening, other necessary medical facilities should be provided. The guidelines issued by the Government of India should be followed completely.He directed that people found with the symptoms of this virus should be kept in isolation ward in the hospitals. It should also be ensured that such persons do not come in contact with general public and remain in home isolation.He appealed to the people of the state to follow the necessary precautions and immediately contact doctors if they find any symptoms of the virus.
