Rajasthan govt. will promote Indian medicines: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) May 23 (ANI): Interacting with medical personnel associated with Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani and other Indian systems of medicine, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot said that these methods have also contributed well in preventing corona. The efforts made by the Ayurveda Department to increase immunity through decoction and other medicines have shown good results. Other methods have also contributed in their own ways to strengthen the immune system.Chief Minister also said that Indian medical practices have an important role in realizing our resolve for 'Nirogi Rajasthan'. The state government will not lack in promoting these systems. He underlined that during the time of Covid-19 pandemic, the doctors and nursing staff associated with these medical practices have worked with full dedication.During the meeting, Chief Minister also said that the relevance of these methods has increased in modern life style. Research in these methods should be made more useful towards the current needs by promoting them.
