Sambhali Trust holds Desert Daughters of India 2.0 photo exhibition at UN

Geneva [Switzerland], September 24 (ANI): Sambhali Trust organised the ‘Desert Daughters of India 2.0’ photo exhibition at the United Nations in Geneva, showcasing stories of displaced families from Pakistan who are rebuilding their lives in Rajasthan’s desert regions.Through photographs and personal stories, the exhibition highlighted their journey towards safety, education, livelihoods, dignity and new opportunities in India.Govind Singh Rathore, Founder and Voluntary Ambassador of Sambhali Trust, said the exhibition aimed to bring the concerns and experiences of these women before a global audience.Jacqueline de Chollet, Founder of the Veerni Project, emphasised the importance of supporting women and girls as they become participants in society.The exhibition highlighted stories of resilience, rebuilding and new beginnings from Rajasthan’s desert communities.
