Sanitisation drive by AAI at Chennai airport in full swing to curtail COVID-19 spread

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Mar 20(ANI): In wake of Coronavirus haunting the country, Airports Authority of India is taking several measures proactively to try and curb the spread of Covid-19. Officials at Chennai International Airport are taking comprehensive measures to curtail COVID-19. Multiple screening counters have been installed to for the comfortable screening of the passengers. The airport employees are working round the clock and sanitizing every nook and corner of the airport premises to curb the spread of the dreadful virus. Further, the airport has increased the frequency of disinfecting process at all areas. Temperature screening, regular sanitisation and fumigation of terminals and disinfection of airplanes have been also implemented. Coronavirus has claimed four lives in the country and infected over 200 people. Centre and state governments are taking every measure to contain the spreading of the dreadful virus.
