Sericulture farmers in Udhampur suffer as cocoon auction market remains shut

Udhampur (J&K), June 09 (ANI): Farmers employed in sericulture in Udhampur demand opening of cocoon auction market. Asha Devi, a farmer said, “All women in Larh village are employed in this sector. We used to manage our financial expenses by selling cocoons, but due to lockdown we're bearing a loss.”
